    The recent cut of $2.2 million dollars to Suffolk County Childcare allocation and the $10 million cut to 08-09 budget allocation for childcare is of tremendous concern. While the economy spirals in a negative direction and cuts to budget deficit is a solution - cuts to childcare will have a deeper negative effect to the economy.
