There is alot of talk about helping the working low-middleclass families. I am a single Mother with 2 teenage girls who share a tiny bedroom in our 2 bedroom appt.We have been here for 13 years as it is financially impossible to purchase something We could actually call our house.I have been at the same job for 13 years as a school bus driver and on the side, I get on my hands and knees daily to clean wealthy people's houses.Just to get by, paycheck to paycheck, with no extra. I have never been able to take my children on a vacation and have to say no all the time.In 2007 I had to file bancruptcy. In 2006, my mom Died and left me a death benefit of $5,000 and I also drained my 403B due to financial hardship of probably $2,000. I wasnt aware that this had to be included as income on my taxes, and now i have to pay the IRS close to $3,000.I have asked them for relief of this debt but have had no luck. I am just a number.A number with 2 girls looking at there mom to get them out of a dead end apartment ,a number with 2 girls wanting to have Mom home for dinner, but she cant because she leaves the house @ 5;00 am and returns @ 7;00pm daily just to pay the bills and never get a penny ahead.There is no bright light for my kids, only a dream of ever having our own home. If we're trying to help low-middle income people get ahead, why wont the Dept Of Taxation and Finance give me relief of this, to them, small debt.To me, a debt big enough to keep me under, and never come up for air.Thanks for any consideration with this matter.
